How we work
From the first conversation to years of care after launch, every project follows the same steps, scaled to its size. Whether you are a sole trader or an organisation with a procurement process, you know what happens next, what it costs and who is doing it.
Seven stages, every project
- 01
Discovery
We learn how the business wins work before we draw anything.
- A free first consultation, in person anywhere in Malta and Gozo or by video
- For larger systems, users, roles, integrations and risks are mapped first
- Who signs off on your side, and how decisions are made
- 02
Written scope and fixed quote
Nothing starts until you have agreed exactly what is being built.
- Pages, features and integrations, listed
- Timeline with review points
- Every running cost itemised: domain, hosting, third-party tools
- Ownership and handover terms
- Changes are quoted in writing before they are made
- 03
Design you approve
You see the site on a phone and a desktop before a line of production code is written.
- Agreed review rounds
- Content structure planned page by page
- Accessibility and search considered at the design stage, not bolted on
- 04
Build in testable stages
Larger projects are delivered in stages you can try, not as one reveal at the end.
- Hand-coded, phone first
- WCAG 2.2 AA as the accessibility target
- Tested on your own devices before sign-off
- 05
Try it and sign off
You use the finished site on your own phone and computer before it goes live.
- Time to test every page and form
- Changes within the agreed scope made before launch
- Written sign-off, so everyone agrees it is ready
- 06
Launch
A launch checklist, run with you, so nothing is lost on the day.
- Domain, hosting and HTTPS
- Redirects from your old site so search visibility carries over
- Search Console, consent-based analytics and structured data
- A walkthrough for whoever will update the site
- 07
Care after launch
The people who built it keep it running, for as long as you want.
- Hosting, updates, backups and security under a written care agreement
- Changes handled by request
- Plain-language reports on what changed and what we suggest next
- Or a clean handover if you would rather run it in house
What every project includes
Whether it is a five-page site or a booking platform, the way we work does not change.
- 01
A written scope and a fixed quote
Pages, features, timeline, review rounds and every running cost, agreed in writing before work starts. Changes are quoted before they are made.
- 02
You own it
The domain is registered to you. Content, data and the code we write for you are yours, with handover terms in the proposal.
- 03
Director-led, start to finish
A director is accountable for every project, and you work directly with the designers and developers doing it, in person in Malta and Gozo or on a call. No account-manager layer.
- 04
Built to a standard
Coded by hand, phone first, with WCAG 2.2 AA as the accessibility target, security headers, consent-based analytics and structured data for search and AI assistants.
- 05
Care after launch
Hosting, updates, backups and changes under a care plan, for as long as you want it. Or a clean handover if you would rather run it yourself.
- 06
Plain reporting
What changed, what it did and what we suggest next, in words rather than dashboards. If a feature is not worth building, we say so.
For larger organisations
Questions procurement, IT and management teams usually ask. Something else? Ask us directly.
Can you work with our procurement process?
Yes. We can respond to a written brief, provide a detailed proposal with scope, timeline and costs, and work to your approval steps. Tell us what your process needs and we will match it.
Can you work alongside our IT team or other suppliers?
Yes. For systems that connect to tools you already run, we agree responsibilities and access with your team during discovery, and document what we build.
Who owns the website and the code?
You do. The domain is registered to you, and content, data and the code we write for you are yours, with handover terms written into the proposal.
How do you handle personal data?
Forms collect only what they need, analytics run only with consent, and personal data is handled under GDPR. If we process personal data on your behalf, we agree the terms in writing.
What happens if we stop the care plan?
You keep everything. We hand over access, files and documentation so you or another supplier can carry on.
Tell us what you are planning
Send a brief or a few lines about the project. We will reply with questions, a suggested approach and, once the scope is clear, a fixed quote.
